  1. How can you say people are still buying physical games when moments earlier you gave evidence of 1) retailers making the decision to not bother stocking physical games and 2) Microsoft making the decision to lay off most of their physical games department? For retailers and Microsoft to come to this conclusion they would need hard evidence that physical media is not worth it anymore, therefore it seems clear to me that whilst hobbyists like yourself buy physical games, the general populace do not.

Physical media is dying, digital is the future. If we're worried about this then we need to pressure our governments to put in laws that will control what a publisher can do with their digital release i.e. if they've released it, they can't take it away, and so on.

  2. I don’t think I care about exclusives making it to other consoles, especially the biggest most expensive ones. These games need to yield so much in sales theses days that in only makes sense to take some of the stuff to the competitions hardware.

Plus, it could also be a great way to bolster weaker selling games like Days Gone.

  3. If you do not agree that exclusives are anti consumer, its because you don't understand English, or you're just really fkn dumb, or both.

Its very simple, they are withholding their products from the open market to artificially inflate the value of their stupid homogenous black box, so you as the consumer have less choice and value is removed from your silly black box for the sake of the other silly black box.

  4. As long as Xbox as a brand stays around and that I can keep buying xbox'es for years to come I'm happy for Playstation to get access to some of the exclusive library. My only Opposition to that is if they go overboard with it. Sea of thieves makes sense, Hi-fi rush makes sense and Gears of war makes sense as that is kind of a dying franchise imo but if I see Halo or other generation xbox brands I get why my fellow Xbots are angry. This is 100% a push to get gamepass on PS5.

  5. Platforms used to have inherent value, like PlayStation having a Blu-ray player, the Xbox having its own network card you can just plug into, internal storage, hardware differences, price differences.

It is not anyone's fault that PlayStation and Xbox are now homogenous, PC still retains its own inherent value, and Nintendo was until recently monopolising the handheld market, and up until the Deck they wouldn't have still held that monopoly no matter how many of their games they released on other platforms.

Acting like exclusivity is mandatory is idiotic.

  6. Super early into the video but I do need to comment that I am indeed buying a Playstation to play Days Gone hahaha

  7. Incredibly happy at the reaction of Gran blue Fantasy relink especially since it dropped between Yakuza 8 suicide squad and Persona 3

  8. In the steam nextfest video it would be awesome if you could shoutout Tribes 3: Rivals – the Tribes series has always been so different and fun and could use more attention!

  9. Issue about Microsoft isn’t necessary the exclusives. It’s management. Microsoft leadership focus too much on profits and interfere with developers from focusing on making a solidly good game. Ex: Halo Infinite. Halo had everything going for it when they launched, but mismanagement and priorities shift led to the game lacking significant content and it took them basically 2 years to get into a good game. Now, just when they got back on track and regularly releasing content, they scale back and already focused on the next game. Now the biggest updates are mainly to cash out through micro transaction.

Microsft needs needs to be more hands off and let the developers just focus on making good games

  10. You can get the game included as part of your Xbox Game Pass subscription and play on Xbox, or pay full price to play on PS5. What's the problem? I still get value to buy an Xbox if I prefer the "Netflix" subscription model for my games vs the "buy every BlueRay model".
