I always see the argument that Vanguard is really intrusive as an anti cheat, and I’m glad that WarOwl made a point saying that people care for privacy when they clearly don’t.
I get it, people will think that they’re being spied on or something worse, but I just want to play a damn video game where I don’t get cheated on in a fair competitive environment.

War owl really doesn’t understand valve has a known hard stance on kernel stuff and tbh it’s not a magic solution either. You can still have bad kernel cheats like Apex and these games still have tons of cheaters in them it’s just that the faceit/valorants likely market campaign a ton that they don’t have cheaters.

NeokCS also made a video, but mods deleted it. Cause Valve and this reddit’s mods are a joke trying to hide the problem.
Honestly instead of trying to “PR” their way to hide the issue, they should actually fix the problem. At this point its like they are running their own propaganda machine trying to tell the world that hack is not an issue in CS.
Provide education to see it happening live and not live.

I’ve been playing CS for 20+ years.
It has always had a cheating problem.
1.6, Source, GO, 2 all had cheating problems.
I quit Valve matchmaking in GO a long time ago and moved to ESEA. GO matchmaking had cheaters in > 50% of matches.
Now, CS2 has cheating problems like all versions before it.
I’ve ‘quit’ every version of CS because the more you play the more cheaters ruin your experience as you climb ranks or care too much.
We’re surprised *now*?
Go play PUBG or Tarkov or any FPS. Cheating plagues the entire genre.
The most cheat resistant FPS has been Valorant. You’ll have better luck asking Riot to create a gun-only mode than to get Valve to fix cheating.
The cheating history of CS is older than most of the commenters in this sub. Welcome to the club, remember its a game meant for entertainment and focus on your day job.
