That’s why you buy it directly from CDPR on GOG, and download the offline installers.

Today it’s porn games. Tomorrow it’s games with explicit sexual scenes (like cyberpunk). In five years game dev companies that like to make money will refuse to make games with any adult content because it’ll hurt their bottom line. All that will be left is “safe” games and Madden.

Gotta fight the corpos! Can’t roll over over without a fight!

Yeah I usually don’t give a fuck about petitions and protests and stuff but this royally pissed me off. It’s like GamerGate in a way but worse.

Some one got that Video of Johnny’s speech? It’s got the Cello Remix of Rebel Path in the background

  6. BoredCrusader1899

Thank fuck I decided to buy the physical version

  7. Yeah if these people get their way Cyberpunk would’ve never been made or it would’ve been a sanitized politically correct garbage.

  8. Some bored Karens really should just fuck right off and leave everyone else alone.

It wont be and there’s no weird kids getting sexualized in that game so dont put that on cyber punk

If y’all really want to hurt payment networks, Use cash. They won’t make money off you with cash. Merchants keep more money and middlemen aren’t in the middle of the transaction.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies also work as alternatives to ensuring you do not have to pay a middle man to facilitate a digital payment.

  11. Should be noted that these games are already over 18 and many movies touch upon the themes they take issue with. This is just leveraging more power than most countries to eradicate a sector of the industry,

Indisputably a anti trade practice comparable to banks refusing to house the bank account of the 50 shades of grey publisher

Its not the going to be on the chopping block like that. Like sure its a heavy game but no ones gonna take it off the markets

The same fringe group responsible for the removal of the porn games on Steam, also once campaigned to try to get Detroit: Become Human removed from shelves. And that same fringe group managed to successfully get GTA removed from retailers in Australia, so, I mean even mainstream games without “adult content” are FUCKED.

  14. Man the phones. Let them know that a small number of prudes doesn’t speak for the majority.

Just remind them: calling and asking politely isn’t the last resort. It’s the first. We’re running out of time for chippin’ in, and if they don’t listen now, they’ll listen to archangel

It will not go, don’t kid yourself indeed. Everything in it falls under “artistic nudity”. And no. There is a difference between porn games and everything else. It will not be “today they’ve come for our porn, WHAT THEY GON DO TOMORROW?!”, that even sounds silly.

That said. Hands off of my porn games. xd

  17. With how things are shaping up around the globe I feel like the situation will only change if the go after games like Cyberpunk and GTA. When big money players realize that these puritanical lobbyists are hurting their bottom line.

Suddenly LGBT+ representation is important. As if it wasn’t a tool to reach their goals for people that would actively advocating to remove each and every representation of us in normal times.

  19. Diligent_Dream566

Just point them at rockstar and let them fight. I’d LOVE to see a payment processor try and push a money pit like GTA online.

  20. TGB_Skeletor

Corporations will 100% go after cyberpunk

I mean, that game is basically anticorporations and is a critic of the modern world, and corporations cannot tolerate that people side with silverhand

  21. pigeonier

Could they please leave videogames alone 🙏, the industry is already going downhill and I really dont want games to end

  22. Well, I hate to say it but at least we have Elon musk in our court (to be clear only because he gets off on other people playing it and saying it’s him )

If people actually took action themselves and followed steams and the credit card companys rules and reported 2077 and GTA5 enough to get them taken down, it would cause enough of a stir for them to back down cause both games violate the credit card companies rules which violates steams new rule.
