Today it’s porn games. Tomorrow it’s games with explicit sexual scenes (like cyberpunk). In five years game dev companies that like to make money will refuse to make games with any adult content because it’ll hurt their bottom line. All that will be left is “safe” games and Madden.

With how things are shaping up around the globe I feel like the situation will only change if the go after games like Cyberpunk and GTA. When big money players realize that these puritanical lobbyists are hurting their bottom line.

If people actually took action themselves and followed steams and the credit card companys rules and reported 2077 and GTA5 enough to get them taken down, it would cause enough of a stir for them to back down cause both games violate the credit card companies rules which violates steams new rule.
