there’s a separate button to uninstall vanguard if you right click it on the quick access bar, but you might have already broke it by attempting to uninstall it in some other way so do the opposite. Reinstall everything and do it the proper way

Might be worth grabbing the portable version of Revo Uninstaller (it’s free) and seeing if it can do anything with it.

Try using Revo Uninstaller. It’s pretty good at rooting out files and registry entries

I suggest installing space sniffer, it’s a really neat program that allows you to see and delete whatever you want, not caring whether the programs permit it or not.

Go to the folder and see if it is even still installed. If you removed it outside of the app manager, it might not even be there anymore, and this could just be an artifact.

I had a program I couldn’t get to uninstall until I used this: MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta from Microsoft’s website.
select the program to delete and then click next, next and next until the program is finished. It is safe and trouble-free.

When this happens to me I simply delete the folder in Program Files, then do a Windows Search (as crap as it is) to remove any leftover shortcuts and stuff.
And if I’m feeling a bit stubborn I’ll also search the registry and delete more if I’m *sure* it’s related.
Then I may use CCleaner to clean up the registry and remove any other parts of the registry that are related but no longer referenced.
