There isn’t really a cpu in the market today that won’t keep decent temps with a big aio on it. Whenever these reviewers test cpus, they always throw a FAT cooler on it, to eliminate the bottleneck…..

85 is on the hotter side of thing, especially for a pc. My pc doesn’t exceed 70c on cpu or gpu even when stress testing.

Not sure if this is a laptop meme, but it is extrememly relevant to them.
My parts aren’t apparently good enough for this to happen, because on normal clocks and quiet fan curves, my 3060ti never exceeds 70C and my r7 5800x3d never exceeds 80C. My gpu is a 2 fan msi ventus and my cpu cooler is a few generations old 280mm corsair aio.

If you got the temp lower at stock max clock, then you can just crank the clock til it gets to regular temps again right?
As heat increases, electrical noise increases and the chips can no longer process signals from it was my understanding.

This must be some Intel shit, my 7800X3D rarely goes above 65c running raytraced games at 4096×2160 without upscaling 🤷
If this is about GPUs, my 4080 usually stays below 40 lol
