Final Fantasy VII Rebirth literally just did that to me XD

Ghost of Tsushima. I’m terrible at finishing games but this one gripped me throughout. I felt kinda empty for a week or so after finishing.

Elden Ring, Bioshock, San Andreas, FF7

Uncharted 4. Spending time with Nathan Drake for the last 3 games and now his journey was finally over, guy won.

a few of them, but DS3 is probably the biggest.

that game took a few years of on-again/off-again playing to actually get through.

  6. Subnautica Below Zero. I cried my eyes out. Was not okay for like an hour after.

A Way Out got me pretty good the first time through. Definitely worth a second playthrough to screw around with a buddy

That’s crazy, that’s the 7000000000th post of this question I’ve seen within this year

  9. Silent Hill 2, The Witcher III and now I’m finishing up Mass Effect Trilogy for a first time in my life.

Let’s just say they don’t make games like that no more…

I played Metal Gear Solid 4 last, and it was certainly the peak of the series for me in terms of the writing. Closing out Snake and Big Boss’s story there was amazing.

    I played in a whacky order, Rising, V, 1, 2, 3, 4.

How game changes your life need context.

maybe didn’t quite change my life, but felt this way at the ending of deus ex 3

  13. neoatomium

FF VII, before that it was all for SFII, Mortal Kombat,…

I discovered a new genre and the end of Disk 1 changed my life of gamer for ever.

The same as the previous fourteen times this has been posted in the last month.

    Silent Hill 2.

    “James… you made me happy”

Everytime I see this post I think “Journey” just two hours of gameplay sometimes with some random stranger who also decided to play a 12 year old game at the same time as I did. No dialogue from the game and no words other than small beeps and boops from my new friend.

Firewatch. Seeing the photo reel at the end was the icing on the cake and a punch to the gut.

God of War 2018, Ragnarok and the Valhalla DLC. What a ride. Especially having played the original GoW games.

Bioshock and Bioshock infinite. Infinite gets a lot of hate, but every time i play it i discover new details that add to the story for me.

RDR and RDR II. Both were and still are some of the greatest moments of the entire medium.

Dead Space 1 and 2: The “Alien” and “Aliens” of video games.

    Most Zelda games Ive played.

Dark Souls. You never forget your first, whether is was BB, Demon Souls, or Elden Ring. Mostly because of the immense sense of accomplishment and because the Gwynn fight is one of a kind.

Changed your life? You need to get out and read more.

  19. Devil May Cry 3 and 4 – Except I wasn’t quietly watching the credits but beating the shit of the hordes of demons the throw during the credits

Detroit: Become Human! I even shed a few tears, which I normally don’t do!
