I don’t think it’s meant to be a radio active symbol. I forget what you call those motors but it has 3 magnets that spin in a wheel of copper wire that creates a electric magnet field. Causing the fan to spin. I’m sure it’s supposed to be a description of that but this is just a wild guess

Some industrial fans use beta emitters in the brushes to improve rotor contact. It is also self-contradictory because brushless DC fans have switching brushes. I do not believe that there is any radioactive material here, though, and even if there is, it is very weakly emitting. But I’d still consider getting it tested. If the measurement shows more than 0.5 uSv/h on close contact, it is a slight reason for concern, but still within norms, as chances are there would be no measurable difference from background dose rate 1 ft away
