It does not look like an ant, and is smaller (1-2px). I think I saw it move when I first noticed it, but it has been static for the last half hour or so! There is another one (video link) which seems more like a dead/stuck pixel and I did not see it move.

What should i do

I have had this happen I waited till it died and then flicked the screen till it fell behind the bezel

  2. Turn it off and lead it to the edge with a light. You don’t want it to die in the middle of the screen.

  3. Pray it manages to leave on its own before it dies.

Thrips will do this from time to time.

    Just hope it gets out.

is it actually under the screen? don’t smush it you will never get it out just leave it and hope it comes out on its own eventually

The cursor is in the correct shape, flip your mouse then click to press it outward

Turn off all the lights, laptop and room etc. Shine a phone torch as bright as possible at the edge of the monitor or wherever visually you could see where the bug may have entered. Step 3 – pray and be patient, hopefully the bug follows the light and exits.

If you have a vibrator or an electric toothbrush try using it to scare the bug towards the edge

  9. It’s a thrip, also called thunderbugs. Had plenty of them die inside my TV screens, super annoying! The only method that worked on some of them was that once they died, lightly touch an ultrasonic toothbrush against the screen near where the bug is. Sometimes, the vibrations will cause it to fall down to the bottom bezel out of sight.

Two options: set off a bug bomb or use band language

  15. If you kill it, it’s there forever :p

Let it wander and hope it finds the CPU heatsink

If its dead nothing cant be done i think. (otherwise you can try to lure it out somehow)
