This mission in Death Stranding 2 was honestly the most visually-impressive level I’ve ever seen.

Especially for Godstation which is the best

Idk man, I think it’s on par with Alan Wake 2

Yah it’s crazy. The way rivers flood and fire spreads are also amazing technical achievements in that game.

Looks like to giant GPUs on the right side. I cannot unsee

The lighting is great but under-used. During sandstorms, shadows of lamp posts and stuff cast big, imposing shadows and should have been a hunt the animal or something but looks large and fearsome but it’s just a lost koala or something

You must not have seen Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing turned on

Just waiting for it to come out on PC……….

It was kind of the first time I felt something was truly next Gen. I know it’s not actually and there’s definitely been others that I haven’t seen, but this was just the first time personally I’ve got that feeling with these consoles.

  9. I wonder how this was handled without DLSS making it look like garbage.

The only thing that came close to this for me was the Underwater Vegas part of Horizon Forbidden West. Both Decima Engine.

This whole place is just fucking gonzo lol

  13. I have a screenshot of this scene as my PS5 wallpaper. It’s so good.

I liked this level but Alan Wake the Musical and the Ash Tray Maze are better as modern visual spectacles IMO.
