I got it the day after I destroyed the core & liberated the rogue Delamain fragments so I assume it’s one of them, but I still don’t understand what the message is for or if it’s some easter egg
I think it’s one of the rogue Delamain AIs that you freed that’s a bit unhinged.

I never get these because I always merge the fragments.

Did you crash your bike choom?

Looks like this particular AI plays old school rpg where you need to type what your character is gonna do next. So it asks V advice on quest progression.

Is it just me or does this convo have the same pacing as the “interlinked” scenes from Bladerunner?
RambleOff
Is it referring to ICE/firewall in the second one? Delamain getting up to shenanigans beyond the blackwall?
Due-Ingenuity9803
I think one of them asked for advice on an rpg and you got them to lose
dontyoudaredevi
That’s not how that played out for me

This feels like either an old-school text-based rpg or a choose-your-own-adventure book. Dunno what it is off the top of my head, but I’m certain it’s a reference to a specific game or book. It’s definitely not gibberish, at least. There were also a lot of point and click adventure games that gave the player a lot of limited choices like this and had fail-states everywhere, could be one of those.

Does this have to do with Delamain trying to understand the nature of humanity? It researches thousands of years of human history and shares its various hypotheses with you when you drive it.
Lialda_dayfire
Pretty sure this is the delamain that is afraid of flamingos. Get the text exchange right, and it will send a picture of a giant flamingo statue, totally destroyed.

I never got this, so I’m just speculating, but; it looks like he’s talking about tracking down either a netrunner or a hostile AI. “Figoro” is probably a misspelling of ” Figaro,” a character from an opera, and Masingo might also be misspelled but in a way that makes it unclear what the original name was. “Below the ice or behind the fire” is asking whether to try to find their data signature protected under actual Intrusion Countermeasure Electronics (ICE) or behind a firewall, which in this case might be the Blackwall, if we’re talking AI here. And “burn or drown” could be asking whether to attempt to destroy their datasig when found, or flood it with junk data, DDOS style.
Again, all just speculation. But I’m pretty confident that the “ice” is ICE, and the “fire” is an actual firewall, which the Blackwall kinda counts as.
Also, I don’t know if it’s at all related, but for *anything* cryptic in Cyberpunk, it might be worth checking out r/FF06B5. They’re working on cracking what appears to be an ARG hidden in both Cyberpunk and Witcher 3, and while they’ve made some progress in knowing something specific is clearly up, there’s a long way to go before they figure out what it *is.* More eyes on it and more data points could always help.
edit: Apparently the way to “win” is to choose the last answer available to every question (that is, the one on the bottom of your choices of reply). Like I said, I don’t know what the answers are ‘cuz I didn’t resolve the quest this way, but I’ve been thinking about it some more.
Assuming that you lose upon giving a wrong answer and proceed when you give a right one, what we seem to learn from this is that if a hostile net presence becomes relevant in the ARG, we know which of two possibilities they are, that they’re a human netrunner (because it’s humans that need ICE, and AIs that are protected by firewalls) and that trying to Synaptic Burn them, T-Bug style, will not work.
That feels useful, actually!

It’s asking for help to pass a Turing test. We just found out you aren’t human.
