I never really took what he says as a threat. This to me reads more like “this shit is big, if you start talking a lot of bad people will come after you as well as me if they find out I know.” Oda doesn’t really move a finger against us until Hanako is in peril at the parade, the guy is on the level as far as I’m concerned.
