They’ve now added stealing a supercar from some people who originally stole it from the cops, between that and the family dinner quest, it is re-enforcing my idea that he’s supposed to be an in-universe Vin Diesel, but with an extremely dark questline

I thought I didn’t like River because he’s a man flirting with me and it hits me wrong. Then I was genuinely charmed by Kerry and had a great time with most of that romance.
River lives a small life of simple things and family values. V is a head in the clouds mercenary living on the edge knowing that they’re weeks away from dying and trying to shine as bright as they can before they inevitably burn out. They’re incompatible. He’s a bad fit.
