Nothing beats commanding three Battlestars and a support carrier.

Is that the one that was free to claim on Steam for a short period of time a couple weeks back? I missed that.

Thought it was Mass Effect 3 for a second.

I just wish they could have even larger battles.

Having 7 ships at a time kept the game very tactical (in maps and which planning out fleet compositions) and manageable for the AI to handle too. But imagine seeing 20+ Battlestars and Basestars duking it out.

Nothing compares to commanding three warships and a support transport ship in intergalactic space, among stars and asteroids. I’d love to see that in real life, haha.

  5. It’s turn based?

Claimed it when it was free recently mainly because of my love for Battlestar.

Going to have to actually give it a try now!

This game is amazing, had a lot of fun with it.

  7. I played this one last year and couldn’t get into it unfortunately.

They did such a great job capturing the vibe of BSG – right down to the shaky cam replays

Although not as many options as Flotilla, I was delighted to find out this was a we-go turn-based game in the same style. Easily the best retail Battlestar Galactica game you can get. It’s second only to the Beyond the Redline/Diaspora mods for me.

The one aspect I found lackluster was the rather bare bones management for squadron and dogfights.
