Boss spam at higher waves – got kinda fixed but jesus christ was it obnoxious
LTM should not be limited time. Grief seemed pretty cool but ive been busy with other shit, id love to hop on and play it with friends at some point
Some of the crossovers and LTMs defo feel like a waste of dev time which could’ve gone towards actual content
Other than that, game is very solid. I wish treyarch weren’t making bo7 zombies so they could have put even more time into bo6, but it is what it is, and I hope they continue to pop off

I actually enjoy a little zombies gameplay here and there but it’s not my everyday choice

So I definitely have some issues with bo6, but I would still probably say its my favorite since bo3 (have played very very little bo4)
deadpools_dick
BO6 as a whole has some glaring issues, however the zombies community has been eating fairly well all things considered. That said, The Tomb is just not a very good map and it sours an otherwise excellent lineup of maps.
EntrepreneurialFuck
The mechanics hold it back massively, but the maps have been fucking fantastic. Terminus and shattered veil are all timers for me.
Tomb and Liberty falls are fine but Citadelle is really high quality and probably an all timer for others but just doesn’t gel for me but I can appreciate it.
Robborboy
Wouldn’t know. I need four player splitscreen.
And Blops4 is the last one to do that.

All I can say is I have had alot of fun this year playing b06
mapleshadow_
it’s not even close to bo4 but ok
bfs102
My only complaint with bo6 zombies is the bosses with grab attacks that are completely unavoidable damage
Other than that it is a fun mode that has some pretty good challenge in some spots
GinPatch
Me and my mate were talking about this.
This has probs been the best verison of zombies we have had in a long while.
Most of the DLC maps have easily been a 8/10 or higher (looking at you Tomb)

It’s not been bad, but players expected something to make up for years of bad zombies from ‘MEH’ BOCW to downright terrible Vanguard and MW3. I think the zombies this year was okay, but it did not make up for the years of neglect. And to find that the game mode was basically split in two to make two games, BO6 and BO7, was a kick in the teeth.
The way they marketed it, it sounded like it would be a return to the glory days, and it just wasn’t. BO3, and even for how hit or miss it was BO4, got loads of support and loads of maps.

Yup its been a great year for zombies. I’ve had a blast and all my complaints have been technical about the stability of the game and lack of effort for story/cutscenes.
Maps, gameplay, atomosphere, music have all been exceptional.
Level5MethRefill
100% agree. The new wonder weapons we do have are awesome. The swords are sick. The maps are unique. It’s very cinematic. Multiple cutscenes in each map. Terminus has 4 in total. The boss fights have been out of this world. I think the best we’ve ever had. A giant kraken on an abandoned island, a zombie T. rex, an ancient fire golem. Tomb is the only one that’s meh but it’s growing on me.
I think this is the best music we’ve ever had. Terminus, Citadelle, Liberty falls and shattered veil have the best Easter egg songs and I’ll die on that hill

While I like BO4 zombies itself more, I agree BO6 has been a pretty good year for zombies and I think has had a better reception in the community than BO4 did too
JLifeless
it’s just a slightly more in-tune version of Cold War to me and i wouldn’t even begin to compared it to anything Bo3 or older. it’s just too different in both good and bad ways
with this said, the art direction is incredibly boring and i wish we had more “themed” maps outside of ‘ooooo here’s castle :)’
KindHornet
It hasn’t been awful but it still hadn’t been what I’d call great either. The maps ranged from meh to pretty good, but it still just feels like a chore to play any of them. I’d probably give it a 5 or 6 out of 10. Not bad, not great, just kinda average. At least to me. Maybe bo7 will sit better with me, but I’ll have to wait and see.
Jumping_Robot
The map design has been amazing but some of the base mechanics hold it back. Sometimes they need to admit the new mechanics aren’t great and revert them rather than going all in
