Aw dang that brings me back! I need to get it again.

I usually go ICS (infinite city sprawl). I would not have thought this is possible.

Wow that interface is maddddd SC1 vibes
Elegant-Mechanic-190
One of my favorite games!
Dunbaratu
Great game, but I hated the color scheme, because “which kind of terrain is this particular variety of red-and-green land square” got to be a PITA.
SidewaysGiraffe
Impressive- and surrounded by Peacekeepers, no less.
Why ignore the borehole cluster, though?

Alpha Centauri really was the blueprint for modern 4X games, ingame music alone gives me chills every time lol

If ever there was a game in need of a remaster, Alpha Centauri is it.

I got this from the library when I was a kid. No instructions with it. I couldn’t figure out how to do anything at all. Strangely I’ve thought about that a few times recently. Might have to download it and give it a try.

Love this game. And the diskless full install option (300MB!) means I always have this on my computers.

I bought this one, but I haven’t tried it yet. My favorite childhood game was Call to Power 2. Is it similar to it in terms of technology progression?
DepletedMitochondria
First time going start to finish through this on Transcendence victory was unforgettable. I still try and do a game now and then but can never decide whether I like the inclusion of the alien factions or whether I want to exclude them.
Slime_Devil
Congratulations. Haven’t played the game myself for a decade or so. Still got the disks somewhere.
GameTheory27
this is one of my favorite games of all time! Needs a remaster!

I’m gonna have to play this again

Oh I wish I had this when I was a kid. I can’t play this now It is too cumbersome. I have all civ games even this one. But I still want a modern version of this…

Welp. I’m reinstalling this today.
Wish they’d make an actual sequel to this
