All these previous outfits and other skins in rp selection are already owned. In future there will also be already owned previous season outfits in these rp selection crates. What exactly is the point of opening these crates using rp points? just to dismantle them to silver. Arent there any better ways to use leftover rp points?

get that parachute trail
dismantle the parachute train with the fortune refine crate (once that reaches to 15), get upgrade mini materials, or mythic emblem scraps or x suit silver scraps.
To spend the rp points lol, you can also spend it on blue spray paint cans, which you will eventually need
Redeem all the paint, then use the rest for opening RP crates , the silver is still good for grinding premium crate coupons.
