It finally happened to me. I just moved. I knew not to touch the tile, but I guess some scratches accumulated during the move sabotaging me anyways. Sorry PCMR
lol, always nice to see tiles in these posts. Scratches don’t accumulate into this, this is the tiles doing, you may not think it touched but it definitely touched.

It kinda looks like it is literally sitting on tile right now. Just because it’s stylized to look like wood doesn’t make it wood.
I see posts about glass breaking and gpus sagging all the time and it makes me wonder what the hell people are doing to their pcs.
I’ve been tossing mine on the floor in the back of my 40ft rv for several years, it’straveled thousands of miles, coast to coast all while unsecured and without padding or protection. I won’t buy another glass one if it ever does break though

I have a feeling that yall are going to see me post one tomorrow when I get my new PC.

Next time open your pc on the bed or at least a soft mattress….

Why do we do glass again? Surely there’s a better way to have a clear side panel.

Another guy with tiles stylized as wood? There was one just two days ago, with very similar floor and a broken panel.

There is Pros and Cons when buying a Glass side panel vs a Acrylic side panel.
Acrylic:
-More durable (depends)
-Looks a bit worst in some cases
-Sometimes Cheaper
Glass:
-Fragile if you’re not careful
-Looks better
-Sometimes more expensive
In the end you just need to be careful otherwise good luck with your open case…

First off when you move get those packaging air bags the ones that inflated by friction when you smack them. Also this is why I keep the boxes for the tower… Just be sure to package the GPU and CPU cooler separately if you don’t want any damages.

If you can’t see an impact point around the seal it was likely spontaneous breakage, if you film glass before it pops you will see a butterfly where the imperfection in the glass was.
I make toughened glass for a living

This is why I will never go with a glass side panel
Also because I’m broke and all my computer components are mismatched and my cable management is bad, not aesthetically pleasing to look at in the slightest

Bruh that looks like pools of dried blood. You ok?
Is that even tile? It looks like basic laminate.

Another one bites the dust.
