What do you mean there is no good ending?

I mean…he still dies shortly after, but at least he has a nice couple of days before that.

  2. The ending of Panam is the best, but as a female V in a relationship with Judy. Sure, there is still the awareness that you have little time left, but the video from Judy shows that they spend it well. After every other ending, I didn’t have such an impression.

I’ll take (Don’t Fear) the Reaper over this any day. It’s all a matter of personal preference.

  4. Well it’s the 6 months that puts a bittersweet patina over it. Hope is nice and all but let’s be frank, V is not gonna find a cure in some rinky-dink mexican clinic in a desert wasteland travelled by yahoos cosplaying mad-max.

But yeah the Star is the “happiest” ending you can get.

I feel like the Aldecaldo ending is as close to a “good” ending as V was going to get.

  6. Naah I’m not okay woth dragging thw aldecados on my suicide mission. Me and Johnny and sometimes Rogue are the only ones going in.

I find the Tower ending as good as it gets without being cheesy; it’s far from perfect but at least V got the retirement that Alex always wanted. And the no chrome nerf means V won’t ever be recalled to wet work like Reed and Alex were.

At the other end there is always the Sun if one prefers a blaze of glory.

Well, in the Star Ending, V probably still dies in, if I recall Alt’s Estimate correctly, 6 Months, Panam will be heartbroken about it (either as a friend or a girlfriend) and others will be sad too.

I think this is what people mean with there is no good ending.
One could also argue that the Ending, where Johnny takes the body, is the good ending, because V gets to live in the Net with Alt while Johnny gets to live again in the real world after suffering in a digital corpo prison for like 50 years.
