Also YouTube has resources to fight against each of them in parallel. Its just AdBlock is the easiest on the bunch because of technically no-loss(if people who were using ad-block stop using youtube, that is a win on youtube, not a loss), and they control over the ecosystem(Chrome and Android)

do bots ever actually link to cp? theres the ones that have nsfw content in their profiles, but those are adults/ai, and theres the ones that reply to people saying “Insert creator name is so bad, i make way better content, click on my profile for cp” but it’s just ragebait.

I don’t understand I use uBlock on chrome and have no issues with with YouTube or YouTube Music, hell music is so good it’s like the paid version of it.

Advertising gambling in finland is only legal for the finnish gambling association “veikkaus” (literally means “guess”). Hence the multiple online casino and gambling site adverts youtube seems to push are illegal advertising here in finland.
This illegality is actually word for word translated as “it is illegal for anyone outside veikkaus to advertise gambling online or offline in finland”, which means, even a 3rd party gambling site based in say usa cannot legally advertise to finnish people, as that gambling site is not a part of veikkaus. You also cannot circument this by using a site like youtube for the advertising. It’s simply illegal to display those ads unless you are a part of veikkaus.
This is actually the reason i got an adblocker. I hated getting illegal ads because i watch videos about how casinos scam people etc because i find the science behind that interesting despite having no interest in gambling itself.
If youtube stopped displaying illegal ads to me, i would reconsider but not as of now.
These ads are actually an issue on anything that contains ads so i block everything i can.

there’s ai misinformation – Minor issue
Porn ads – Promoted to children full on nude not even softcore porn, just full on breasts out milk coming out ads, and i have personalised ads off on the account that is promoted on, and i get gambling ads on my main account when i have never even searched or been on a gambling website
Bots posting links to infant cp – This is one of the biggest issues on youtube and they don’t even ban people with the UTTP accounts, there are 8 month-2 year old videos maybe older of 2 minutes clips of porn, slavery and murder promoted to children directly
Illegal ads – Ads that violate certain countries’ laws
And credit card companies are targetting incest games and allowing google to just have cp advertised on their platform

If you can put over 10 billion a year in the bank after everything and that is just a guess based on released information then i think there doing just fine with us evil ad blockers.
