No joke but I do sympathize with Sam. She’s the equivalent of a brain in a jar that remembers being a human and having a body but just doesn’t and never did. She even describes it as ‘phantom pain’ and I’d go crazy if I was her.

I honestly don’t understand why Richtofen refused to help S.A.M. get a body. It doesn’t have to be her dark aether-powered former body, she just wants to “return” to being human.
Hell, he could even promise to work on building her a robot body temporarily until they can find something more permanent. Just don’t make her a Terminator or anything, and she’d be far more useful, happy, and less likely to turn on him.
