   Now do it with a UK team (impossible).

   When FaceIT had functioning regional hubs, the UK one was absolutely painful to play in, and while there were always 2-3 games going on in the highest tier, it had to be opened at level 8+ because there were not enough players.

   I’m no professional, but finding other Level 10+/ESEA A+, Brit/Irish players for league games was incredibly hard. I ended up playing on mixed European teams, which was a lot more enjoyable anyway, although the cavet is the exclusion of regional leagues.

   British players do also tend to have a ‘protagonist’ mentality, so usually when I hear my own accent, I get a bit of an “oh no” vibe to start with.
