AMD is reportedly “targeting the RTX 6090” with a new Radeon GPU, and the specs look amazing. Would you like to see AMD competing at the high-end with Nvidia again?

I’d love them too but… that’s definitely a 600 w card with the specs he’s outlined there. Please sort the power connectors out AMD.

Anything from MLID should be taken with a truck load of salt.

Sounds good. I won’t believe it ’till I see it.
Dlo_22
Way too early to be talking about the 6090.

Competition is always good for the consumer

From the very same source who constantly makes shit up – the RX 9080XT should have been on store shelves by now according to his earlier videos.

Saw the “source” was MLID and exited the article. Might as well forget you read this.

No, of course I don’t want competition in the top end. What kind of stupid ass question is that?

If the cards are £2k I couldn’t care less

In other words somebody somewhere told one of their “journalists” that they overheard somebody talk about a friend of theirs who overheard a conversation in the bathroom of one of
AMD’s subsidies where somebody pointed out that AMD might potentially look at this in the future. And they ran it as if it was fact

Remember when the XTX was supposedly targeting the 4090 according to similar useless articles? I waited for it… then it came out and just managed to pretty match a 4080 in plain old raster while getting destroyed by RT.
RPgenio
I would like AMD to dominate budget and midrange, not just copying nvidia with a slightly lower price. Nvidia can stick to their premium crap.
CrustyPotatoPeel
Targeting a GPU that doesn’t exist yet. Solid plan.

‘Guys, look. I have a source.. I mean I can’t tell you who it is but they have been right before, so yeah, someone at AMD told me they are get this… wanting to put out a next gen video card that goes head to head with the upcoming flagship from the competitor upon launch… I mean it could have been the janitor.. It could have been the guy that told me fairies are real and I might have not heard the guy right but… There’s a chance! So I think for sure this is going to be a thing guys!’….
Basically MLIDs entire video template…

Atleast it’s a rumor from MLID and not gamers meld. If that was the case it would say, “New AMD alien GPU leak to compete with RTX 7090 next month”
Lelmasterdone
Short answer, yes. nVidia needs a reality check with their halo product pricing. The fact that their Founders Edition RTX 5090 had a $1,999.99 starting MSRP is beyond me. Plus, competition is good for the consumers. Monopoly’s are not lol.
PoizenJam
I want to see competition at every level. Entry level, low-end, mid-range, enthusiast, enterprise, whatever.

Depends on the price
Barf_The_Mawg
I just want an affordable midrange option…
