I have an old FX 8350 and a 1660 Ti. Looking to upgrade this year. And the idea was to buy the CPU combo and after all, probably next year, upgrade the GPU. I'm not a hardcore gamer I just like to gaming really chill so I'm clearly not in the rush for an upgrade due I have an +10 years old CPU.
A couple of years ago I told her that I felt guilty to want to spend money upgrading my PC and she said "it's totally fine, it's your hobbie and I want you to have the PC you like"
What happened? One of my coworkers upgraded his GPU and he would sell to his cousin his former 4060 Ti… A couple weeks ago he told me that his cousin can't buy it (he knew I wanted that RTX) so I told my wife that he's selling me his GPU and was doubtful about buy it or not.. she told me "go get it, I'll buy it for you" π
And that's the story of how I met your mot… Sorry, how I get insane bottleneck π but now I can focus on save money to buy mobo, CPU, RAM, NVMe and a cooler. And loving her even more, thanks honey, you're the best!

This is so sweet! Great to see this before going to bed, lol. Just upgrade as you get ready. Youβre best saving up a lump sum to get the new CPU, RAM, and drive but be proud of the new card!! You got a keeper for sure π

Protect her at all costs.
Nice work! People shit on the 4060, and while it may not have made sense to upgrade from the immediate hard preceding it, coming from a GTX 970 like I did was a major boost!
NOw Thats a good wife
