I think pins off FX CPUs works on ryzen too. Don’t see why they all wouldn’t tbh but haven’t looked too closely.

How do you remove pin from that CPU, and you just solder it to another cpu? I’m really interested in this, I have one CPU without pin and now it only works with single channel RAM.

Soldering pins on a cpu: you need experience and the tools nothing for most of us.

Alright this is actually pretty cool and interesting

thats pretty sweet, any demonstration video’s?

  6. Lol, in all my years I’ve never known the pins on CPUs are simply soldered to the PCB 😂 I don’t know why, but I just assumed they were somehow… Hmm… I never actually once thought about it before 🤣 Just cause I never had to I guess, I never bent a pin or dropped a CPU in my entire life 😅
Good to know, thanks OP! 🙂

Lmao, was there really a risk you forgot that an A6 missing half the pins was a donor?

I’d love to see a recording of the process!! Kind of want to try myself.

What temperature and air speed do you usually set for this process?
