..how to open PAP. Yeap that's me, playing it for the first time in 2025. So what's your Opinion? Waymarkers like CW/BO6 or "just run around for 1 hour until you die and maybe in some days you find out how to" (and yes i know how to google and YouTube, thats not the point here). Happy Humpday 😅

I wouldn’t really mind waymarkers if they could be turned off. After the first 10 or so games… I mean, I don’t hate them, but they’re genuinely not needed anymore.

Very underrated in the cod zombies genre imo. Replayability is outstanding. Has a super EE reward and if you’re a fan of harder EE’s you’ll have a good time. Jumpscares can get you but eventually find them funny because of the T poses. Alot of the guns when packed change the way they operate completely. I loved the gameplay but didn’t care for the story.

I mean, this WW2 map does tell you how to open pack a punch, and it also tells you how to do the entire Easter egg. This was the best system we ever had because you only saw markers when the notebook was opened and there was a separate hard Easter egg that had steps not shown. This allows for new players to dip their toes and get used to the mode and then the dlc maps can be blind with no hand holding.

The Final Reich has gotta be one of the easiest to figure out without a guide. You hit a switch next to the machine that opens up three sewer pipes that lead to three other switches. Take a hot guess

explore the PAP room for a little bit and you will probaly find out for yourself, which personally i find much more interesting than giving you markers, we are just not used to exploring stuff.

unpopular opinion: it’s my favorite COD and Zombie COD, very dark, gore and the WW2 theme is very nice, I miss this game

I prefer the mystery of it but at the same time if you were an offline only player it’d turn into a puzzle game and if you didn’t know there are secrets you might never figure it out

I meaaannn if you looked around a little bit, it’s not that hard to discover. And the YouTube video is less than 3 minutes. You’re why modern zombies is so brain dead

pack a punch can be opened by taking a few garbage chutes all over the map so it takes a bit, but ww2 pack a punch has some fun weapons

I mean the whole point is the journey and figuring it out, and I don’t know why you disregard looking it up because thats a personal issue

  11. cant believe some of the stuff from this game got re used in bo6

I realized BO6 is actually just WW2 zombies.

WW2 is the first zombies with:

    Armor system.

    Perk augments.

Melee perk instead of melee wall buy.

Boss zombie for the Easter egg final step.

    Spawn with a primary weapon.

    Customize wall buys.

Multiple special zombie types per map.

I could probably think of more, but I think BO6 is based on WW2.

Honestly, this game looks and plays better than what we have now. It’s fucking peak, but people at the time didn’t really realize that.

  14. Humpday?

Isn’t it like when you want puppies you let your dog “hump” another or am I just confused

Obviously you can google a tutorial for pap but I think the game does have a “journal” system where the various quests/objectives/unlockables are marked?

In order to get PAP you have to open the sewers (very bottom of the bunker), then go around the map and find 3 tubes sticking out of the wall, like disposal chutes. Each tube leads you to a closed room. In that room, there will be a button. Pressing that button gets you 1/4th of the way towards unlocking PAP, and opens the room for you. The last button (or first, it doesn’t matter the order) is in front of the machine itself.

That was a good map. Difficulty level was good. I loved that they had an easy side and then you continue for the harder version for the full ending

Way markers for PaP are fine. I still don’t know how to open PaP in Dead of the Night, and I refuse to look it up because *I shouldn’t fucking have to.* It’s a vital core game mechanic, don’t gatekeep it behind cryptic bullshit and then not help me figure it out.

Maybe CW/BO6 PaP methods are too simple to need waypoints, but then the worst they do is point to a door.
