Is anyone else not exactly hype for this? Ive been wanting a new solid battlefield that would go back to the experience of 4 but hearing that the class system has been gutted is kind of whack to me.

Whenever I see a post about Battlefield on this sub, it’s always people complaining about the same things. Bringing back classes, not releasing rare skins, this, that. Guys, EA fixed most of 2042’s issues years ago. The classes have been around for a couple of years, two or three event-specific skins are kinda weird but all the rest are 2042-themed, there are no weird weapons (many even returning from the vault from previous Battlefields). I still don’t really expect anything from EA, but people are complaining about problems that no longer exist today.
Edit: And for people who miss BF3 and BC2, you can literally play them remastered as they were in their time on the Portal.

DICE had come out in the recent past and said they don’t understand what people liked about BFBC2, arguably one of the best BF games of all time.
The direction they’ve gone with last few games, the gameplay feel, the graphics, the lack of classes.
It just feels like they have the perfect formula in BF3 and 4, but they just purposely refuse to use it, because it’s from other people’s work, and they wanna add their own “flair” and keep up with the market that demands selling skins and “operatives” and pushing all sorts of rubbish mtx instead of actually making a good core game.
