I’m a dad. I might have lost the battle for TV space, but I still win in the end.

What kinda dad has time to play on four different consoles?

The top looks kinda like a switch, and I know the second is a steam deck, but I literally have no idea what the other two are lol

Buy a projector so u can use ceiling as monitor.

Now you can troll your wife while she watch soap opera.

No you really lost. You bought that sony thing. Its useless like the vita a psp before it. Sony cant do mobile. Just give up.

You have 4 handhelds and two hands. What did you win?
The handhelds don’t even compete with the TV, anyway.

  9. Weight of devices:

    – Nintendo Switch 2 – 686g (with case and grips because without it it has ergonomics of Apple Magic Mouse)

    – Steam Deck OLED – 630g

    – Playstation Portal – 530g

    – Lenovo Y700 + Razer Kishi – 620g

What this Post really shows me is just how good the steam decks anti glare is and how shit the others are in comparison

Which one is best in your opinion? Or what are the pros and cons of each that made you buy another.

There is always some steam drone that is going to make any post about handhelds into how much better the deck is.

Gotta be honest, the Steam Deck’s control layout just looks fucking horrific to me. Like… how can it be even remotely comfortable with the sticks being that high up?

(Granted I don’t own and haven’t used one, but still. Doesn’t look comfortable for long sessions of use.)

Personally, I prefer handheld! My partner plays games on the TV while I game snuggled up to them on the couch in Handheld with my Switch or Steam Deck.

Love that we can game together!

They are more into metroidvanias and I’m into long JRPGs (which is perfect in handheld).

Same. I lost to the Paw Patrol and the “How to train your dragon” show. I love my Switch 2 ans my Steam Deck

  17. My wife was playing her switch on the tv while I was playing ff7 on my portal… it took me a second to realize that this was total BS lol.

  18. From one dad to another, trust me when I say you only win when spending time with family > gaming.

You could definitely get down to 2 devices easily. And not lose access to game games ;). I mainly use iPad and moonlight.

  20. Only a couple few of us gonna understand the relief this picture brings

The 4 handhelds lived in harmony until the Xbox Ally attacked…
