I would personally recommend, to only upgrade it to level 2, so you can get the custom attachment skins and the cool improved kill effect. Getting it to max level (whatever your region is) usually costs double the cp cost of the gun. Eg: if a mythic gun is 8000 CP then maxing it out will cost 16000 cp

I’m guessing it’s your first mythic, so you don’t know; but every mythic and prestige weapon is upgradable. It’s not essential to enjoy the gun though. You can look at the different levels of upgrade, see what perks you get and if any of the upgrades are important enough to you to buy. If not, leave it where it is.
