there it is.
On one hand, I agree with the sentiment that Steam has little to no restrictions on searching or obtaining pornographic games. Sometimes they pop up in my feed based on a single tag from a similar game I play that has no real relevance to the pornographic nature of the game such as “Open World” or “Multiplayer.”
On the other hand, parents should have better control over their children’s internet access especially if that kind of content bothers them, and removing the games is just stupid (baring any actual or simulated child sexual abuse material).

Collective Shout is so out of touch, they don’t even know what aspects of Detroit Two Human they’re even mad about. If they did, they’d know this isn’t even the most abusive Quantic Dream has been to children in one of their games. Heavy Rain’s whole story is a serial killer that targets kids.
That all said, a broken clock is right twice a day. I do think pornography based games are detrimental to the continued existence of Steam and they should be moved either to a seperate launcher or off the storefront in general. That shit is just exasperating the porn addiction problem facing a lot of young adults nowadays and some of the darker ones do actually depict women experiencing sexual assault. While I think everyone has a right to enjoy what they purchase, I also think that we shouldn’t normalize it’s availability.

Haven’t really read much about this current stuff going on, and I’m definitely against most censorship, but I always found it crazy how much porn you’d find on certain games artwork tab.
Conservatism is a mental disease, and those who suffer from it should be institutionalized for their own good and the good of society.
