It might’ve been ’91 but this is the only pic I have of the screen from back then

Something about those ancient heavyweight TVs that was just so cozy.

Always hard to decide if you need to use the flash or not, back in the day.

Is this the turtles arcade game on nes
Odeta
Absorbing to the hand all the static from the screen was like having a special power pre gaming session.

I wasn’t allowed to have a TV in my room until I was like 16, which I bought myself. I envied all kids with their own TV (…of course, other kids envied me for having a game system at all).
Kumimono
Dammit, that tune will now play in my head ’till I’m 90. 🙂

I wasn’t all that bright as a kid, so I could blame it on that, but even with the magazine for the city, the NES TMNT game was just rude. The amount of attempts it took to get through the electrified seaweed level alone was absurd.
Fun game though.
I realize this is probably a different TMNT game, but it felt like a good moment to vent about that.

I had an old Commodore64 monitor that I repurposed back then for my NES and later SNES. Those were the days man.
