Probably just designed by AI like everything else these days.

the issue isn’t really about graphics, it’s about lore… as far I recall eddies are supplied only by eurobank that lets other countries like NUSA use that currency paying a sort of % interest (basically it’s the same mechanism of how european central bank “loans” euros to national banks of countries of EU).
According to the logo over the cyberpunk 2077 eddies it seems those notes are printed by something named international western bank that I never read of between other lore banks like eurobank, japanese fujiwara etc…

if an american bank could print eddies, NUSA economy wouldn’t be so fucked up since in theory they could devalue currency in order to print more.
Btw it’s unlikely cash money is still used in 2077 since most of transactions, legal or not, take place through people’s agent devices.

  3. how the hell is paper money still relevant in a world where everyone can literally just transfer money right into your account by looking at you for a few seconds

That’s dope. Detailed currency, down to the sig, watermarks. Cool

Will we be done with currency in 52 years?
We are losing the penny, apparently. I don’t recall seeing any coins in Night City…

Man dollars in real life are dirty as is, I don’t even want to imagine how grimy eddies must be.

Do you know if there is a design without the wrap? I know it got a specific term, but it’s stuck at the tip of my tongue.. Only the French one comes up..

They come flat? I thought all physical Eddies in the game come in a compulsory rolled up wad of bills form.
