Someone brought their AIO computer to Starbucks.

  1. That’s mad tbh

I get the appeal of AIOs but just get a desktop or even a mini pc at that point lol. Well idk not everyone needs that horsepower, but if you don’t need that horsepower and you’re gonna be a Starbucks worker, then get a laptop.

You know how much pussy you can get just going into a Starbucks with a Mac laptop and collegiate cloths?

Work on whatever and just say your writing a novel when a woman asks you what you’re doing.

    This guy, geez.

Some people can’t afford wifi at home.

Edit: Philips had not made AIOs in a long time. These things pop up cheaper than laptops at goodwill stores.

I have a few students who sit in common areas of my school or go to Starbucks for good WiFi.

Sounds like a lot of work moving that big box. I see a lot of nomad claiming mac mini with a portable monitor is the best portable setup.

  5. Starbucks in my country is beginning covering the outlet to prevent customers like this lol

  6. A long time ago I used to work in a coffee shop. A semi regular would come in for business meetings and show a PowerPoint on his AIO. It was always a mess especially if there weren’t any large tables around and he used our small ones.

Could be a number of reasons why theyre rocking it, maybe it was a gift and they dont have the money for something more portable. Or maybe they do have a laptop and its down atm.

I have and use an AiO and it is much worse than PC or laptop. No portability unless you’re the person in the photo, and if the screen or something else breaks it isn’t a separate thing you can replace easily.

I knew a guy from a forum who owned a 20” iMac G5 some 20 years ago and he bought a specially made backpack to take it to college everyday. That shit weighed 11.5 KG 🤣 Dude was desperate to talk about it and be seen with it from what I remember and I just thought it was so stupid to lug that weight around instead of getting a laptop.

why not? Ive totally guild raided from starbucks on a laptop while a homeless man would consistantly not stop talking to me while im trying to kill bosses for loot in WoW.

When I worked at a at& retail store, an old lady told me she couldn’t get into her AT&t email ” on her Mac” And I assume she meant MacBook and even though that’s way outside my job description, I told her if she ever wanted to come by with it I could take a look and see if I could help get in.

The next day she came by with her giant ass old iMac, didn’t bring the mouse or keyboard or power cable because she assumed I would have all those things. I’m like holy crap. You really meant Mac.

My co-workers were dying watching me work on this thing, especially after I found a mouse and keyboard and cables, I turned it on and asked for her password to the computer and she said ” oh this is the first problem. I can’t get into this part either” 😂

We figured it out pretty quick and I got into her account in no time, but to this day, it’s such a funny story to me because she didn’t even understand why? I would think she meant MacBook.

This week I was explaining to colleagues how All in Ones are just Notebooks in different shapes and that’s why we should buy ATX desktops. This person somehow got the memo.

This is how I feel when I bring my 17″ gaming laptop with the bigass charging brick on a similar setting
