Are the Cold War maps better than the DLC for BO4? I don't really care about the mechanical differences between the games

I haven’t try all BO4 maps so I can’t judge them, but gameplay-wise Cold War has (besides the 4 Round-based maps) the “Outbreak mode”, which is a separated mode with bigger, warzone-esque maps with random objectives and quests to complete.

Personally, I think Dead of The Night alone worth to go for the DLC.

I like Dead of the Night more than all of WaW-BO2 combined, genuinely.

Can I get the BO4 DLC on PS5? I bought the disc of BO4 expecting all zombies maps to be on it but apparently I need a pass

  5. Bo4 zombies > CW zombies

If they are both the same price, then its a no-brainer and go for bo4.

BO4 is such a downgrade from BO3 in terms of quality and gameplay. Cold War is better. (Argue with a wall)

  7. Cold war has probably worst map pool out of any 3arch zombies. Excluding vanguard

I think the bo4 dlc is better than all of Cold War combined

I think all dlcs in bo4 are great except for alpha omega. Ancient evil and dead of the night are goated maps. Tag der untoten is decent. Cold War has average maps, but better gameplay catered towards casuals. Bo4 has a bit of a slow gameplay style and is far more complicated.

Since Bo4 costs the same as cold war… I’d highly recommend it over Cold War as there are 8 maps total and so much more like gauntlet, which is fun.

BO4’s EE’s are way harder than CW’s EE’s. BO4’s Dead of the Night is the last celebrity map they have made and imo has the most OP wonder weapon. Ancient Evil is also on BO4 and that map is one of my favorite maps, the aesthetic and overall gameplay is so fun with a challenging boss fight. CW’s outbreak I grew to like even though it felt bland I honestly feel like MWZ did a great job for people who enjoy a more open world experience. Cold War has some of the funnest wonder weapons to mess around with, mauers pistol and forsakens chrysalax are so fun to use. To me personally BO4 feels like it has more “soul” than CW, I’m sure CW being developed during covid didn’t help but it just felt rushed.

I would personally go bo4, though I enjoyed both. If you’re doing easter eggs, bo4 will be significantly harder, and the mechanics are a bit wonk if you’re not used to how bo4 plays. I think the main issues with CW are that it’s too easy, it doesn’t feel like it has the same soul that previous games do, and most of the maps are pretty bland visually

Cold War is easier ee wise

Bo4 has some of the hardest ee’s in the history of the franchise

Both equally fun, imo it just depends on the challenge level you want

BO4 has some pretty good and bad maps, but Cold War overall has mediocre ones. If you enjoy how BO3 played in terms of gameplay loop, easter eggs, and map layout, I believe you may come to like bo4 more than Cold War.

If we’re talking strictly Zombies, I guess BO4? I like the systems less, but the maps are much better. As a whole package though, CW is probably a better bang for your buck.

Just get game pass for cold war, the dlc for cold war is free anyway, and that way you can get both

BO4 for sure. BO4 has good dlc maps. Cold War zombies takes a hard dive after Die Mascine.

The Black Ops Pass for BO4 will come with five maps: Classified, Dead Of The Night, Ancient Evil, Alpha Omega, and Tag Der Toten.

It will also unlock the Gauntlet gamemode for those five maps. It might also unlock the Zombies Rush gamemode for those maps, but I can’t remember honestly, I didn’t care much for that mode.

Cold War zombies will come with four round based maps, the gamemode outbreak and eight maps, and the gamemode onslaught, which is a less fun version of zombies but on a few dozen of the multiplayer maps.

I’d personally go for Black Ops 4, but they’re both a good time. It’s up to you at the end of the day.

am not sure i understand are we talking abt the paid DLC in Bo4 vs CW full game or full game vs full game

1 if we DLC vs Full game it’s obvious full game cuz Cw has free DLC witch u have to pay for in bo4 of u get bored of 1 map

2 full game vs full game

Bo4 was more superior then cw
bo4 more customization in the zombies main u can literally start with 10k point and have everything opened without having to pay idk if bo4 had comos but CW did so there’s more thing on cw but I enjoyed bo4 bosses more cuz they actually left like boss hard until u beat em like 3 / 4 only map in cw thats is good was MDT

or 3 Paid DLC vs Free DLC i think we know the answer but maps Bo4 has cw beat

The main thing about CW is that every map is the same. They’re all military bases/labs, they all have a very simple process to turn on pack a punch while holding your hand through it, snd then the rest of the gameplay is buying PaP, perks, and upgrade the tiers of your armor and weapons.

CW has a very weak gameplay loop but it is much easier to play, and the easter eggs are all really easy except for the first outbreak EE boss. I really hated outbreak though, and that was added to the game instead of an extra map.

In total CW has 4 maps plus outbreak and BO4 has 8 maps. For content reasons alone I would go with BO4.

Pick BO4, it had way more love and replayability poured into it

  21. lanemars5

Bo4 underated isk if it’s actually good but its definitely not terrible

  22. Kyouka_Uzen

There’s 100% more content in cw but if the bo4 maps look more appealing to you then id get that instead
