I noticed that my computer was turning off during sleep mode, and I had to power cycle the power supply to get it restarted. I tracked it down to my EVGA Supernova G3 850W power supply that I have had for 8 years. Since I had 2 more years on the warranty I decided to go through the RMA process. To my surprise, they not only had an easy to follow process, but when I got the new power supply they upgraded me to 1000W! Their customer service is the bar other companies should strive for.

They were always great with my video cards back in the day. Glad to hear they’re still doing good customer service.
EVGA fuckals unbelievably hard. It’s a massive shame they’ve left the graphics card market due to Nvidia’s overbearing tendencies but I still opt for their products anywhere I possibly can. If there’s an EVGA part available for something I need I’m getting it.
That’s how it SHOULD be done, unlike Superflower who completely ignored my tickets for a week until I contacted Newegg who contacted them on my behalf, then suddenly I was important enough to listen to.
How does that compared to a hdmi?
Amd was on the up and coming then and are even better in 2025. EVGA didn’t want to switch their GPU business partners and that’s about it now I guess.
Get rid of your old PSU cables. Use the new ones like the notice says.
