They're mostly ridden by gangs and some delivery riders (the rebellious ones). They're illegal and mostly show up after hours or when their 'scouts' have confirmed the area is clear of enforcers. I've always considered Singapore a soulless, bland and boring type of cyberpunk nation.

That is, until the night is filled with loud music coming from these guys and their custom colorful builds fill the streets and their been fascinated by them and am hoping to own or even build one someday. I just wish they have better taste in music than the typical reggae/techno LOL.

Do the e-bikers in your area ride bikes that resemble these or are they more of the cafe racer, e-MTB or converted types?

I love the way humans can take bland, mass produced utilitarian products and turn them into a unique personal statement. George Orwell mentioned something like it in Nineteen Eighty Four, when Winston hears a woman washing clothes and singing a song under his window: “The tune had been haunting London for weeks past. It was one of countless similar songs published for the benefit of the proles by a sub-section of the Music Department. The words of these songs were composed without any human intervention whatever on an instrument known as a versificator. But the woman sang so tunefully as to turn the dreadful rubbish into an almost pleasant sound”.
