BR casual mode and this happened. I've heard about people cheating recently, but haven't looked too much into it. My only other guess is that someone was hiding with a stockpile of stim shots, but I didn't know if that was possible in the gas. Curious if anyone could tell me what likely happened here.

How is it cheating?
There’s not really a cheat that lets you eat gas. The guy just ate the gas with stims. 4 stims (w/ munitions box) and a self revive will let you stay in gas for 5x the amount of time it took you to go down from the gas.
outplayed. theres a guy on youtube named jamcowl who plays the “gas” strategy as in stacking stim shots and surviving gas as long as possible on rebirth island

tho you should’ve remembered (pinged) the buy location to find Stims , you pick it too late , that probably how he survived .

The other players were doing a gas play. It’s legit. It doesn’t happen a lot anymore because they are harder to do now but they are still possible.
It’s a fucking shitty strat, but there are a number of rats that seem to absolutely love it and will say that it’s “legit” or “outplaying” others when it’s really just following a procedure that anyone could do. Takes 0 skills, literally… and I’m not using “literally” figuratively.
Dude I am legitimately crying because you picked up the stim a second or two just too late. It’s like seeing light while trapped in a hole and once you get close to that light everything is just snuffed out. Back into darkness.
Not cheating, just an incredibly corny way to win a game.
Dude was likely under the tower where the ammo stockpile is and just kept stimming/restocking to stay alive. Probably had a self-revive too.
Such a trash way to win but what can you do?
Should have tapped your team mate for the rez, probably still wouldn’t have won but it would have at least bought you a bit more time.
Near a buy, you buy a bunch of selfs, they all drop, stand there, die pick up one revive etc
If this is casual it’s a known, and sadly, frequent glitch where you are the last team and nobody else is there with you. Basically a bot never spawned proper is what I gather… The 2 times it happened to me there was no chopper ending. Just went black and I had to quit the match.

You could also open your tac.map after a stim or while.downed and look for a red ping as you are revealed in gas when coughing
CoD Warzone became a living spot for hackers and modders. The question is quite stupid.
Throwback to when this was possible in 2021, by doing the Downtown Easter Egg and getting like $30,000+.
