    My solution to this is waiting till the shutdown process is done and the moment it starts to reboot, I just push the power button.

    In case you didn’t know that, it’s possible to press esc button to cancel a restart in the first few seconds

    Shutdown? I never do this. Only if an update requires it. Just send the PC to sleep or hibernate.
