Some of these may have predetermined codes in place of error messages. Mine kept giving the same low number code over and over as a way of telling me it needed to be replaced.

I remember FOBs! When I did a brief stint with Tyco Electronics remotely, we had these to log in with to access the computers.
I hated these fobs so much when I needed to use them.
