But seriously though, by the end game I'm pretty sure V could singlehandedly take on a small country. With all the insanely overpowered bullshit they have at their disposal, and depending on their build, they could probably pretty easily pull it off, if I had to guess.

That, and assuming they went (Don't Fear) The Reaper, they are going to have made a substantial impact on international politics, with the near dismantlement of Arasaka as a corporation, not to mention a sizeable impact on Militech, Kang Tao, and potentially, the whole of the NUSA, to a point where they may of may not outright collapse. Not to mention on top of all of that, assuming that the Crystal Palace heist is successful, they could quite literally go down as the most dangerous criminal to ever live.

So again, I ask, at what point is V considered a Weapon or Mass Destruction?

Johnny is *far* too intact in that meme for what actually happened to him in Saka Tower.

I’ve got a Baseball Bat with your name engraved Smasher… _And at max, a minute of invulnerability-_

Right about the time you gain air dash.

Can’t wait to zoom again tomorrow.

Johnny was missing a bit more than an arm when Smasher flatlined him

Is that flower in Rebecca’s eye a drakenguard 3 Reference?

You have to consider, lorewise, you can’t become that cyberware-loaded, it’s just for gameplay purposes.

Regarding the real potential threat >! V’s (well, Johnny’s) connection to Alt and the Blackwall !<, The only people who actually knew about it were NetWatch and the Voodoo Boys, and both sides made clear they wanted to keep that information to themselves.

As powerful as V is, it’s been shown how in “real story/lore” they actually are by being one-shot by Deshawn, flying across the room when Tom hits you, >! getting your ribs broken after the fall fighting the Chimera in Phantom Liberty !<, etc.

To become a Weapon of Mass Destruction V would have to go full Adam Smasher chrome, or >!Songbird meddling with the BlackWall !< level of netrunning.

  8. Suspension of disbelief is needed for this one. Smasher is a military Borg which is essentially a walking tank that needs a RPG to dent in 2020, wearing powered armour and has every prototype cybernetic/weapon available to arasaka

V is a lightly armoured cyberpsycho gangbanger with a death wish. There is no competition, David stood more of a chance and he lasted minutes at the cost of his psyche

It’s like pitting a armoured toyota with a M60 in the back of it vs a Abrams

Well, considering I just beat the DLC and got the cyberdeck with the Blackwall AI…

    I’d say I’m already there.

V is just skilled, I consider end game V to be of similar levels to Morgan Blackhand. V isn’t as chromed up as smasher to not be injured(as seen when we fucking die when Dex shot us in the head, thanks Johnny for coming in clutch and Takemura for forcing Dex to dig us out), but isn’t your average joe and can take on small armies and win.(even gameplay wise, if MaxTac locks in and sends 4 squads at once, your not living even if you overclock and stack a deadly amount of hacks) I’m willing to bet that’s why Night Corp scooped V up, Blackhand and Smasher are gone, Night Corp just made sure that nobody else can have a living NC legend under their employment for what is gonna happen next.

  11. **Interesting Question…** Could the version of Smasher that beat Johnny, beat Rebecca?

    >At What Point Does V Just Become A Fucking WMD?

Around the middle of Act 2, when gold gear starts dropping like Halloween candy.
