I just had to post this after seeing the new PUBG Mobile x Transformers collab trailer for 2025. As someone who’s a huge Transformers fan (especially Bumblebee) and recently returned to PUBG after months of hype building up for this collab, I’m honestly heartbroken.
Look at the comparison (attached image):
• On the left is the 2023 Game for Peace Bumblebee skin — absolutely stunning, movie-quality, mechanical details everywhere, looks powerful and true to the character.
• On the right is the 2025 PUBG Mobile Bumblebee skin — cartoonish, awkward proportions, barely any mechanical detailing, and overall feels like a rushed low-effort version of an iconic character.
This is supposed to be a dream crossover for fans. Transformers collabs don’t happen every year. To see PUBG drop the ball so badly on something this special after months of anticipation is extremely disappointing. As a Bumblebee fan, it honestly feels like a punch to the gut.
I’d seriously rather they delay the release and polish it properly, than give us this half-baked version. It’s rare to get opportunities like this, and many of us would rather wait for quality than get a rushed skin that ruins such a beloved character.

PUBG team, please don’t ruin Bumblebee for us. Delay it if needed, just get it right.

Honestly as a Transformer fan, this is beyond disappointing. Years of hype at this point and we end up with a half-baked Bumblebee ? PUBG needs to realize the game isn’t only about the Glacier M416 – people care about these unique skins too. Please delay and give us the quality this deserves.
