There won’t be any cyberware customisation for V in the 2.3 update. This is confirmed by Amelia “Lilayah”, the Senior Community Manager for Cyberpunk at CDPR commenting on X.
As a result, is it highly likely that 2.3 will be focused almost entirely around a vehicle based update, just to temper expectations.
However, her wording does noticeably leave room for the potential of more updates along the way after 2.3 is released. Updates which will seem to eventually include cyberware customisation for V.

Where are you getting that there will be “no cyberware customization” period from?
It’s so funny to me that the cyberware is kind of the main differentiator for cyberpunk from literally any other of these types of games, and yet we get like 8 slightly different barely visible skin indentations and 4-5 little face plates and that’s it. And those seem even more pointless seeing as you’re not supposed to even see V’s face being 1st person only without mods.
So why can’t we have the existing little knitting needle shins, cyber limbs, or maelstrom weirdness? Seems odd that even elements that are already in the game are locked for npcs only
And I agree, the cars handle terribly even just for transportation, I exclusively use the bikes as a result, but like… if cars are what your after you may as well just play gta, no?
So there’s a chance it’ll come in 2.4.
Kinda silly, considering Paweł asked us specifically about that and said they already knew about it. Sounds a bit like it’s not gonna happen or it’ll be further down the road but who knows at this point.
“Not this time around” is interesting wording. Almost implies it will come just not now. But that feels like something they’d sit on til the sequel honestly. Pretty sure we’ve had mods for arm customization for a while now. Feels like a relatively simple add.

2.4 update will add mobile street vendors.
They should add “hangout spots” like in GTA where you can text or call whoever your romance option/options are and actually go do things in the city rather than just sit in an apartment
I hope it’s more than vehicles because I basically never drive unless it’s required. I’m just constantly sprinting and double-jumping
Ehhhhh. More cars are ok but I wanted full on cybernetic arms and hands. Or even more customization in the clothing options. I usually go for a motorcycle anyway. Still cool. Let’s wait and see shall we.

I’ll be bummed if 2.3 is mostly vehicle based, that’s not something that would make me personally come back to the game. But hey, there’s always 2.4

Don’t tell me I got all hyped for an update just for it to turn out to be mainly vehicle stuff. 😭 Driving around and racing is fun and all, but I really don’t care that much about cars. I hope we at least get some new customization options for V.
I mean most of the time playing game you on foot fighting people. Is it too much to ask for some visual body parts be different playing the game? Fuck i need car customisation, when 80% of playtime is on foot? It’s just strange
Like I love they are still updating the game, but why so much car stuff when there is soany other things they could work on that have more impact?
Visible cyberwear has been asked for since day 1, but still not getting it over auto-drive seems weird
