Being someone whose first game was CW and honestly enjoys the newer games more, but knowing absolutely everything about this franchise far more than most people is like those shitty youtube videos that are like “tourist orders drink in perfectly fluent local language”
As a side note on why, literally just because they’re more casual. Being able to relax for a bit and just shoot some stuff while not being absolutely 100% immortal, but still dont need to worry too much (or death is not heavily punished, like HD2) is what I like in coop shooters. Earlier games provide a nice challenge that requires focus, but that focus isn’t always something I wanna put in.
I’m also a sucker for polish, much more than I’d like to be because it can get in the way of enjoying games that are probably better, but just older. Modern games just control way smoother than older ones and I like that. Its a big part of the reason I genuinely prefer Payday 3 to Payday 2.
Basically, I wanna hyperfixate on this game when thinking about it, not when playing lol
I bet that people don’t know that Great War Richtofen tried to buy a Perk when he arrived at Alcatraz, but due to his Coin (given to him by the Wolf King himself) being kinda a ancient one, the Perk Machine didn’t accept it, so Richtofen sadly put himself in the Cryogenic Pod without any Perks. (I think I’m going crazy, please 3arc, give us a new map NOW!!)
