New MP5sd price: $1250
New MP9 price: $1500
Also maybe decrease the kill reward on the MP9 to $400-500 from 600$
The MP5sd will keep its current kill reward ($600) since it does a bit less damage and its a bit harder to kill someone compared to most weapons in the game.
This might give the mp5sd some economic value, without completely erasing the mp9 from the game since its an exceptional weapon.
Still doubt it would get much use on t side though.

1500 mp9 is a pretty big nerf imo
No one talks about this, but make extend the stock! Same for the mp7. The CS mp7 is possibly the dumbest looking gun of all time with the closed stock and funky iron sights. Just update the models, keep all the old skins on the ugly models idc.
Nah, keep the kill reward the same. Reduce mp9 dps and buff the other smg in line with their prices. The problem is mp9 is too strong while being also the cheapest… makes no sense

How I’d balance the smgs, is make them all the same price as the MP9, and make them all competitive with each other. If they were all the same price, people would really have to choose which one’s they like more.
All $1250
MP9: +suppressor and nerf it’s damage falloff a shit-ton, it’ll dominate at close range still.
MP7: Give it far better penetration values, and middle-of-the-pack range. +Suppressor
UMP: might buff the range-falloff a tad.
MAC10: Keep as is, it’s really good for run and gunning compared to the others, it’ll still see usage.
MP5: Keep as is.
Bizon: Keep as is (with everything costing the same, maybe against eco it will get picked)
P90: INCREASE price to 3000, buff damage (not range), make it a close range warrior. B anchors will have a new toy to play with, fuck it.
Another WILD idea is to have 2 versions of every smg (only takes one slot) you can buy suppressed version for any of the SMGs, suppressor will obviously make it quiet AND increase range. For additional cost obviously, idk horrible idea, but interesting thought.
For the love of god, you can’t nerf (or buff) the mp9 without touching the overall economy of the game. The mp9 is the one single thing that holds the ct economy alive, without that gun cts are fucked
