Saw these cases being used as decoration at Disneyland. What are they and why are they so huge?

Cooler Master PC Cases for ride/event operation controls would be my guess or one of the light shows they do.

They are some version of the coolermaster cosmos

  3. Spirited_Most2569

Something that big ends up being for home servers or a studio build for producing and editing music and video because it has all them hard drive slots inside.

Cooler master cosmos. A tank of a case

Someone’s never seen a full height case before.

There is a small server rack outside of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge when you build your lightsaber. I thought it was kind of funny.

Hey that kinda looks like my case. Cooler master cosmos from like 7 years ago. Havent switched cases since. Only annoying thing is the ports in the front are outdated. Still has FireWire and esata. But I love my case so much. It’s basically sound proof has fans and airflow galor and keeps its virtually dust free.

  9. Viki_CD1

Yea thats for sure a cosmos line case. They were huge and a bit distinctive.

The Cooler Master Cosmos II. Wonderful mid-tower with the size of a full-tower

Cooler master cosmos c700p/c700m. I have the c700m and it’s hands down the most beautiful case I’ve laid eyes on. I think the p had either purple or single zone rgb and the m is argb. Here’s mine. Not the best pic in the world but it’s such a gorgeous case in person!

Damn that’s a pretty good compliment to the designers of that case

Need a banana (or a mouse) for scale.

I love the z840 case, the cooling, power for gpu and cpu all are amazing

A lot of space to work in.

Everything fits, even future parts likely fit (gpus increase in size as an example)

Space for water cooling loops and radiator management is more easy.

Cable management is less of a headache.

When someone pays me to build a pc and they want a big case then it puts a smile on my face vs when they make me work in a tiny one where you cant even use full length cables.

Disney casually flexing that Mouse Money.

  17. ACiDWiRED

pretty sure that its cooler master cosmos c700m – modular case with close to none riveted parts so the motherboard can be inverted

  18. Maxcoseti

I can’t tell how large they are as there is no banana present in the frame

  19. RoninOni

They’re big because it’s southern CA and gets hot outside, so maximum airflow

C700 series cases from Cooler Master.

Fuckin’ expensive, heavy and built like a tank. Yes, those handles are functional and needed. Huge amount of space, think it can field dual 420mm rads and one of the very few cases that has four usb 3.1 type A ports on the front panel.

    Also, damn good case.

I once saw a 30th anniversary edition one for sale for like 250€ or something.

Original price is… 400-600 depending if it’s the M or the P. The P black edition is, likely, the more functional one.

  21. shogun77777777

Uh, they’re PC cases and they are big so that they fit more stuff inside?

  22. Silent_Chemistry8576

Depending on what exact revision of these, they are a little heavy. Not as heavy as pre dell Alienware or the triangle mothership dell owned Alienware cases. I love older cases, I’m glad I picked up an original pre dell Alienware case. Anyone by chance know what kind of paint I can use on the outside since it’s a mix of plastic and steel. Some rust in it but a wire brush on a Dremel will remove that and some rustoleum should help after I apply distilled white vinegar cut with water and brush off.

The case I picked up is a Alienware Area 51 Predator 1. Too bad no PC inside but finding the case. I’m tempted too go stupid make a full ancient aliens show theme or something as a joke.

Im still using a original Cosmos. It’s all modern inside but those handles make them easy to lug around.

  24. Dphotog790

thats hilarious cause thats my Tower….c700m

  25. egosumumbravir

    Huge?

How else are you gonna fit FOUR video cards, TWO power supplies and FIFTEEN 3.5″ 1TB monster drives in without a big case?

  26. JustaLego

These look like DELL XPS cases that have been painted.

  27. TheReturnOfAnAbort

Wow… I’m surprised that no one recognizes that these are Cooler Master Cosmos cases

  28. Silent-Proposal-6583

Ahh CoolerMaster. The Cadillacs of computer cases. Had a Storm back in like 2008? Broke my heart to sell it. But it broke that guys back to carry it down the stairs 😂

  29. Old_Wind_9743

I have their grandfather. Cosmos S

  30. TheBitMan775

It actually hurts me to see a Cosmos out in the open like this

  31. uxoguy2113
