
So word of the wise: turn off PBO/CPB before overclocking RAM. You will save ALOT of time.
I was dailying an almost all core -30 CO that passed OCCT Platinum "Stable" and would pass 12+ hours of VT3, 12+ hours of Prime95, and 24+ hours of stock config CoreCycler. It was actually unstable as it couldn't pass at best of more than 4 hours of both Furmark and VT3 at the same time.
I only discovered this because I was trying to get CL30 6400 MT/s working, and bumping my RAMs VDD would cause observable instability or even BSOD in a few minutes of Furmark and VT3 running together. Turned out, it was my CPU overclock, not my RAM overclock.
Instead I had to dial in my core offsets by using VT3 and Furmark at the same time and I couldn't rely on stock CoreCycler, Prime95, or Y-cruncher without the extra signalling and thermal load from the graphics card.
Core Offsets CCD0: -25, -25, -30, -11, -30, -11, -20, -15
Core Offsets CCD1: -30, -30, -15, -30, -20, -30, -20, -11
Thermal Limit: 85C (Enough to stay power limited at 200 Watts with no graphics load)
No Curve Shaper.
CPU LLC: "Normal" (The Lowest)
SoC LLC: "Normal" (The Lowest)
Nitro: 1/3/1
Next things to test:
- whether tRRDL 12, tWTRL 24 is better than 10-20
- Lowering VDDP back down to stock 0.95V.
- Increasing tREFI back to 49151. At 1.44 vDIMM, basic stress test with no graphics load leads to vDIMM temperatures of 52C. With 400 Watts of Graphics dumped into the case, 57.5C.
- Use Nitro: 1/2/1 for tighter PHY timings
AIDA64 Averages: 89.5 GB/s Read, 95.5 GB/s Write, 84.5 GB/s Copy, 67.9-69.9ns Latency with Hypervisor On and No Latency Killer

LOL, the moment I post this had to increase COs to -25 for Core 8 and 9.
Basically it seems that my motherboard’s power delivery or the signalling overhead for PCIe causes instabilities that necessitate more voltages. Could bump Load Line Calibration, but did not see any improvement at “Standard” and am unwilling to go higher for longevity reasons.
I’ve found Aida to be pretty good for the 9800x3d when running just CPU,fpu,cache
But I have heard it didn’t work right for some people on the 9950x3d cpus
