It’s not too hard if you get a heli, do some contracts for half the match, and then get aggro in fights for the rest. I typically win one solo each time I play plunder for a couple of hours leveling up a new weapon.
The players in the mode usually aren’t good so it’s easier to do

It’s actually quite common, a LOT of Plunder matches (especially in off hours) end on timer with the highest cash count still at 70% or whatever. And half the players have already disconnected halfway through the 30 min match. You see solo players in the winner’s circle all the time.
What’s a lot less common is getting 40 kills while winning, good job there.

Managed it only a handful of times myself. It’s always a random game where nobody is plundering they’re all just swapping for camos or something. Or all trying to hold downtown. Random squad fill is like that too. Sometimes they are very plunder focused and others they just want to hold Hospital or Superstore. I know that at the end of those my eyes hurt from all the loot boxes I had to open. Contracts help but solo you can’t do too many recon’s and keep your cash. My only tip is to constantly be dropping your cash balloons and stay away from deposit helipads because they all just signal your location.
