I like this idea. Good way to remember plays from years past built into the game.

Problem is how would this be determined over the course of the year.
I can imagine the only objective point against this is how to measure the best clip. How to algorithmically determine that a quick 3k could be better or worse than a 4k across the round? 3k might be more flashy, 4k might be cleaner and all one taps. One player might prefer one clip over another for his best clip, and as we know reddit, this would only result in people complaining they lost their favorite clip due to some other “best” clip on their service medal.

Bro cutting a highlight and saving it would be so cool. You’d be pumped when you got your new best highlight every few weeks.
This would be a great suggestion, but Valve don’t give a fuck sadly lol.
It would be an accidental tk that gets me kicked while the bomb was ticking and I was the only CT left last round to decide the game
I would love a Highlight of myself like “Apex Peakaboo” on Train
“Unveils smoke and does ace” in reality you died to your own molly(Austin highlights reference)
Or maybe even the session badge could do that.
would be cool but i dont think valve have the resources to host that many full size videos for free
