Wire up some PC fans.
Attach it to the bottom of the crate pointing up and position them to the hot spots of laptop.
Put some standoffs under the laptop so its not sitting flush and air can move past it.
Profit.

It’s not bad really. If he used a black crate and threw some RGB lights in he would have achieved a proper gamer aesthetic.
