What weapons would the resistance use to practically fight these in a hypothetical cyberpunk world

People have said emp but I’m pretty sure a normal bomb would also be effective

Fishing line. It’s hard for cameras and LiDar to see, invisible to ultrasonic sensors, cheap and ubiquitous. Easy enough for a human to step over and great for tangling robots or if strung loosely from trees or between buildings great for catching quadcopters.

    Nice try, Mr. Corporate.

    Also. Molotov Cocktails.

  4. A worm that gets into their control network and turns them on their masters.

Whats messed up is we don’t need to put lethal weapons on a robot, the only reason people use them is self defence due to them being fragile, but robots are durable they can wait use a tazer or a tranquilizer and wait till they take effect cause if they built well their isn’t much anyone can do, but they probly won’t keep these non lethal cause I’m sure it would be cheaper

Send someone back in time to kill the creator

  7. Net launcher. Would take these and flying drones out

Fall traps. Strategic holes until they get ground penetrating radar, then nets. The lower tech the better.

Balloons filled with sand, motor oil, and black paint.

Lots of paint that just blocks all their sensors and cameras.

Extra win if the paint is highly flamable

Armour piercing rounds, rpgs, napalm flavoured molotovs, and don’t forget the good old fashioned punjee traps, grenade bouquets and other kinds of booby traps.

Alternatively, hacking their network and leaving a worm behind, or tracing the operators and destroying their communication mechanisms.

    Fight Drones with Drones.

    They have cameras for vision.

Build Drones using AI tracking that can locate the sensor eyes of these drones. BURN them out with the very cheap, high powered lasers that are now on the market. If the lenses are somehow protected from that? Then use drones with accurate rapid fire paintballs that shoot out thick, sticky paint that will cover the sensors. (This might be the best option as it is non-lethal and thus might be safer to dodge weaponizing of drone charges.)

Beyond that, Drone Jammers, Shotguns, and similar weaponry, if actual firearms must be brought out.

I think you give them treats, like capacitors or something, and make them your friends. Everyone knows the way to a dogs heart is through their stomach!

Just have a Netrunner on your team to crash down the robots and you are good to go

Just need to figure out how to re-create the portable EMP cannons the Ministry of Defense plans to use in the case of ww3.

    – robotic cats
    – tennisball
    – sausage
    – doorbell
    – postman

  17. Best bet is to hit infrastructure.

They need to charge, so anything between that and the powerplant is a weakness
